Bachelor of Fine Art
Earn a bachelor of Fine Art, while majoring in Graphic Interactive Design, and minoring in Art History at Tyler School of Art, Temple University in Philadelphia.
Temple University Rome
On the way to earning my Bachelor of Fine Art, I jumped on the chance to study abroad at Temple University Rome. This decision would end up allowing me to study art history and politics in Germany, and practice traditional handcrafts such as book binding, and wood block print, in Rome. This experience would prove invaluable as it boosted my interest in the world and my confidence to explore it.
Philadelphia Flyers Internship
In 2018 I worked with the Philadelphia Flyers professional hockey, and Philadelphia Wings professional lacrosse teams to create motion graphics that were presented across the stadium during televised games. This experience introduced me to some of the most clever design problems I have ever faced, such as designing looping animations on a massive scale, moving graphics across multiple screens in a physical space, and turning out branded content at a moments notice in a very fast paced, detail oriented space.
Temple University Athletics Internship
In the summer of 2017 I worked with Temple University Athletics to create social media and print content for upcoming events, and games across the university's roster of teams. After working with these branded assets I was luck enough to be invited out to New York and meet with the creative director of the brand package, Eric Cobb of Standard Black NY. This experience allowed me to make decisions for the brand on my own, while earning the personal approval of the studio behind the brand.
Wandering Studios Student Film Club
While in my first semester at Temple University, I joined the university's largest student film organization, Wandering Studios. I was quickly appointed the Public Relations and Graphic Design board member and for two years continued to help the organization work with local professionals to write, shoot, and produce student films. This experience helped teach a lot of the skills I still use today in my animation, and video editing.
